A slang name for a movement in electronic music, which borrows heavily from the Miami Vice era work of Jan Hammer - The VALERIE Collective of Western France are considered to be at the forefront of this movement.

If I were to call the sound something, I'd say it's NuHammer.

GTR - A term in DJing for when the dancefloor goes crazy because of the music and not the people they're dancing with. (Short for GoingToRave)

GoingToRave - A term in DJing for when the dancefloor goes crazy because of the music and not the people they're dancing with. (Can be abbreviated to GTR)

"How was your set, last night?"
"Epic! The dancefloor was GoingToRave at 10:23p!"
