redundant and repetitive way of saying "the same old thing" or "nothing new"

an expression implying that a conclusion about someone or something has yet to be reached.

hipster: "Is this dude for real? I mean, either he's psycho, or just plain stupid."

tipster: "I dunno man....think the jury's still out on that one."

describing someone who is under intense or extreme pressure.

having someone of importance at your disposal to help further your own agenda. usually involves kickbacks of some sort.

it's a well known fact that many corporations have politicians in their back pocket, thats why it seems like they're the ones really running things.
