emotional black hole

a person who is emotionally deficient and who is likely to "suck the life" out of another person to make up for that deficiency

the shorthand version of this phrase is (obviously) EBH

Hey, you look terrible! What happened?

I ran into my emotional black hole today and I don't think I'll recover until tomorrow. I'm dead-dog tired now.

She sucked the life out of you, big time?
