Drop the price.
A phrase popularized online following Nintendo's presentation of its Nintendo Switch 2 video game console on April 2, 2025. In the days following the presentation, internet users began flooding the comment sections of Nintendo’s social media posts with the phrase in order to protest the US$450 and US$70-80 price tags of the console and its games, respectively.
I watched the Treehouse live stream earlier this month and the chat was filled with nothing but people spamming “DROP THE PRICE.”

Orange Tesla
A 2021 YouTube video in which photos of three orange cars, including the titular Tesla, are shown while an unusual instrumental song plays in the background. While the video’s title claims it is a work of rapper Kanye West, the song is actually from the 1989 Sega video game Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle.
I never understood why people referred to Enchanted Castle’s Pedicopter theme as “Orange Tesla” until I searched for it on YouTube.

Two-tier Keir
A term used to refer to UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer in reference to his preferential treatment of racial minorities and immigrants.
A Rwandan murdered three little girls in Southport and, instead of him, Two-tier Keir is arresting Brits who don't think importing the third world is good for their country.

Club Penguin Journey
A fan-made revival of Club Penguin founded in 2023 based on the game's AS2 (middle) era, from 2007-2012. The game was abruptly shut down in September 2024 before returning the following month. Unlike most other revivals, the game is not housed in a downloadable client and is purely browser-based just like the original game.
I tried Club Penguin Journey once but couldn't get into it as someone who grew up with AS3 Club Penguin.

Club Penguin Island
A now-defunct massively multiplayer online (MMO) game released in March 2017 as the successor to the classic children's MMO Club Penguin, which was discontinued on the same day. The game served as a last-ditch effort to continue the franchise following its predecessor's decline in popularity and resulting demise. It was poorly received due to its initial mobile-only release, lack of content at launch and, like its predecessor, locking most features behind recurring paid membership. Due to a combination of these factors as well as competition from social media and other forms of children's entertainment, the game was a commercial failure. Club Penguin Island, and with it the Club Penguin franchise, was discontinued in December 2018.
