(A-flay-zee) A sudden whirlwind of popularity or intrigue based on little substance or rumor, quickly dying out or suddenly becoming extinguished. Usually pertaining only to internet influenced media.

That guy was really popular on Facebook last month but that died down after people met him in person; it was just an afflaise.

adj.: wacky and endearing; a happy and agreeable disposition accompanied by an unconventional sense of humor, an excitable temperment, and a penchant for theatrics. See also: capricious, earnest

I saw her wearing Rainbow Brite shoelaces and she was dancing around to her iPod - she was so zabacadoo!
