a term used when a sudden overload of information or emotion is brought upon you usually very unpleasant or unexpected.

Person1: "When I watched clannad, I wasn't expecting to get assblasted with depression"
Person2: "When I watched MHA, I wasn't expecting to get assblasted with a stupid ass fandom"
