The traditional goth-style mohawk, usually wider and less tall than its punk equivalent. Alos known as a "goffhawk"

Tipper sticker 

Warning labels placed on CDs that are deemed to be offensive by a group of white Christian grandmothers.

Wal-Mart will sell guns but it won't sell albums with a Tipper sticker, 'cos it's okay for kids to have weapons as long as they don't listen to music with dirty words.

ponyhawk 

Long hair that is cut in mohawk style, but not spiked up; a tall mohawk in its flaccid state. Called a "ponyhawk" because of its resemblance to a horse's mane.

Darren dyed cut his hair a ponyhawk and dyed it purple.

spookykid 

A devotee of Marilyn Manson, Slipknot, etc., usually complaining about "preps", wearing tacky clothes from Hot Topic, and pretending to be dark and scary. Frequently misaken for goths by people (including themselves) who wouldn't know "goth" if it bit them on the ass.

1. Large carnivorous dinosaur from the Cretaceous period, also known as "Tyrannosaurus rex" and "Dino Pimp Daddy"
2. Gnarly glam rock band from the '70s, fronted by Marc Bolan

zhoosh 

Polari term that means to fix or tidy, usually in reference to hair or clothing.

Kyan told John to zhoosh his hair after taking a shower.

Very cool subgenre of punk rock with a gay activist slant. Notable bands include Huggy Bear, the Haggard, Team Dresch, the Chromatics, and Tribe 8.
