A more realistic version of the U.S. Navy term “IYAOYAS”, which instead means “If You Ain’t Engineering Laboratory Technician You Ain’t Shit”. Engineering Laboratory Technicians (ELTs) are the U.S. Navy’s hand-selected GODS of naval nuclear power reactor chemistry and radiological controls. They are forged from the top U.S. Navy Machinist Mates (MMs), overarching those who are not selected due to their understandable lack of testicular fortitude.
