When someone does something so amazingly! stupid! to where you don't know whether to call them a moron or an idiot.

wingbat

Wingbat is an undercover way to call someone a Dingbat but without getting in trouble.

Your wife or girlfriend does a stupid act and you call her a Wingbat. She looks at you curiously and you can smile knowing you just got away with calling her a Dingbat, but without the repercussion.
