A situation where multiple people diverge from the topic on hand to deliver a barage of puns that distracts from the topics and disorients the topic originator.

Person A: "I read in the news this morning that a blind man was hit yesterday by a car at the intersection in front of our office"

Person B: "I bet he never saw that one coming"

Person C: "I think the driver must have turned a blind eye"
