NELCY is an American Artist born 2007 September 1st, in Florida Broward County to parents Carolina Palacios (mom) and Altamir Bitencourt (dad), She spent most of her life living in Fort Lauderdale.
She then released her debut album Parasite around June of 2022, containing 10 songs about the life experiences of hers (so far). She was only 14 at the time. She spent over a year with her dad’s side of the family. NELCY got to know many parts of Brazil and her family history, inspiring her immensely as she felt isolation and loneliness once more, until the cocoon of self loathing broke…soon the creative wings of a metaphorical musical moth emerged from the darkness trying to find the light, with out blindingly falling into the abyss. After the many hours of exposure to raw life and different kinds of music, she was truly inspired once more, creating a collage of songs and art works of her emotion. Hand picking just eleven tracks for her next sophomore album, a stronger, raw and more pure return. Sharpening the ends of her debut album and maxing out the sound systems to a new and timeless sound in the production, cutting through the bullshit of the billboard modern hot 100.
NELCY is currently 16, her next album will be released when she’s exactly 18 years and 2 months old.
