A term used in much of Massachusetts to refer to a Massachusetts State Trooper.

Passenger: "Hey you gotta Statey on your tail"
Driver: "That's not a ... God Damnit!!!"

To get outrageously drunk and wake up feeling like you were under artillery attack

"Oh man, I got shelled last night dude."
"Yeah? How do you feel?"

NLC

"No Longer Cognitive"
So drunk or high that a person no long exhibits higher brain function or able to realize or interact with their environment. Often only capable of moaning, rolling around on the ground, and spilling beer.b

"Hey, Jimmy's NLC"
"Yeah, what do you think we should do with him?"
"Just leave'im and let'im sleep it off"
"Yeah, he'll be fine"
