Anything that is obviously dead and has been dead for a while.

Bubba told his friend Ned that Cooter, his yella dog, got hit by a truck. Ned asked Bubba if Cooter got hurt. Bubba blubbered "Cooter was deader n shit."

gurgitate

Gurgitate is the opposite of regurgitate.
To eat and digest food is to gurgitate.
To puke (regurgitate) is the opposite of eating and digesting food.

She can gurgitate fish tacos while swimming without regurgitating the tacos into the pool.
