Jeter 

A word that many Red Sox fans say after they fart in order to warn others, but originally in order to protect themselves from being punched by their friends. Based on the "safety game" in which anyone who farts must say "safety" before someone else says "doorknob", lest the farter be punched by everyone until they can touch a doorknob. "Jeter" replaces "safety", while "Nomar" replaces "doorknob". By extension, "Jeter" is also commonly exclaimed while, or immediately after, defecating.
