(n) The act of raising the expectations of forum members by posting a story (typically regarding a member of the opposite sex) as it develops in real time, updating every three or four minutes but ultimately failing to provide a conclusion.
Forum member A: So what happened with you and that girl mikey?
Forum member B: Yeah, what happened
(no response from mikey after 2 days)
