A hairstyle that is cut in layers and combed to one side. It was named for Aaliyah, the dead singer.
When Lina, Tyler, and I were at the barber shop I got a mohawk, he got an afro, and she got the Aaliyah.

an aesthetic competition that cannot be classified as a sport not due to a lack of difficulty (since jumping around, holding up people who weigh 80 lbs when you weigh 80 lbs, and yelling really loudly are somewhat to very difficult), but because an integer score is not awarded for certain activities (e.g. football - a touchdown is 6 points, baseball - a run is 1 point, etc.)
Cheerleading and figure skating are difficult, but not sports. This is not intended to demean either of these activities, but to place necessary qualifications on certain words.
