Wifling is the act of a wife or girlfriend searching through their husband/boyfriend's things, often motivated by suspicion. Stems from the merging of "wife" and "rifling". Can also be used when a girl reads her man's texts. Jenny started furiously wifling through Chris' wardrobe as soon as he left the room.
