Upgrading a place with home automation technology. This will usually include a whole-house audio system, network-based thermostat control, touch screen computer interfaces, home surveillance, and motion-sensitive lighting.

I just finished technovating my house. I can access my music and movies from anywhere in the house, check up on my home security from work, and even control the thermostat over the internet!

short for "technology and innovation" - a radical new approach, process or product from a technological sphere or dimension.

The technovation amazon, Microsoft and Facebook have brought in the IT world over the last ten years is just impressive.
