A shrewdness is a term associated with a group of ghetto black people.

For example, two people are driving down a street in a low income neighborhood and there is several thug looking black people on a front stoop. The person driving looks over to the passenger and gestures to them by saying "look at the shrewdness to my left."

To take something small, that doesn't quite qualify as a theft. Probably from the Danish "skæv" or the Dutch "scheef", both of which are pronounced similarly, meaning "askew, or not quite right'. To change an item's ownership without permission, but only something small and of little worth.
