residentsleeper

ResidentSleeper is an emote and expression used on twitch.tv and within the gaming community. It symbolises boredom, originating from a man who fell asleep on stream.
This stream is low-key dead ResidentSleeper xD

Residency

Medical graduate education where sleep-deprived residents (MD/DO) are underpaid and work 100 hours a week to become good physicians. Not to be confused with the 500 hours total required to become a nurse practitioner.
NP: "When I was in residency..."
MD/DO: "You keep using that word, I don't think you know what it means"

The Residents

1. A band you don't know about.

2. They are allegedly from Louisiana where the four, maybe even five at first, allegedly met in the 60's in high school. They decided to go west for San Francisco, but their truck broke down and they ended up in San Mateo.
In 1971, the group sent their album "The Warner Bros. Album" to Harve Halverstadt at Warner Bros. He didn't enjoy it too much and sent it back, but becuase the band did not include a name, he sent it back to "Residents", and they adopted it as their name.
The Residents have been around for a long time and have produced many albums. They are a great band that focus on being artistic and experimenting with new technology.
1. Kid A: Do you know who The Residents are?
Kid B: Aren't they those people with the eyeballs who make shitty music?

2. Kid A: Why don't many people know of The Residents?
Kid B: More than likely because they are different.

The Residents

The greatest band no one has ever heard.
Four consistent decades of high rated albums and short films really speaks for itself.
Seriously, go listen to The Residents.
Sure, their albums are harder to find than Jimmy Hoffa's first lay, but that's no excuse!

residence hall

Similar to a Holiday Inn hotel, but crappier and with nicer people. Residents pay $5000/year to reside in one of these. Included free of charge are 2am fire drills and bathrooms in which people do not flush the toilets.
