The nickname of ESPN analyst and "insider" Chris Mortensen. It is a sarcastic name in nature, because ~99% of Mortensen's "scoops" end being inaccurate.
It was originally coined by the NFL writers at FanHouse.com and has since taken on widespread infamy across the internet.
