Derogatory adjective used to disparage enviromentally conscious people. An envirotard may simply like eating organic food, or they may be really active in the enviromental movement. People who, for some reason, find taking care of the earth offensive or somehow stupid, call people who care envirotards.

Enviromarxist 

An Enviromarxist is a Marxist that uses the environment as a front for their attempt to destroy the socioeconomic status quo and implement a Marxist system. They do this to hide their true intentions and to gain support from affluent PC Liberals who want to appear as if they give a damn.

A primary example of Enviromarxism would be the opposition to the extension of the Keystone Pipeline from Alberta, CA to Texas, USA. President Obama has supported Enviromarxists in this endeavor. The Enviromarxist claims that the environmental damages that would be caused are too significant, when in fact any credible geologist says otherwise.

Another would be their opposition to fracking, which they claim causes earthquakes.

Enviroturfing is a specific form of advocacy in support of the "Green" political, organizational, and corporate agenda; which is designed to give bogus environmental science, legislation, or fears undue credibility.

The main goal of enviroturfers is to disguise any mega-fraud as being either necessary, and/or "beneficial for the planet."

The 2009 decision by the United States EPA to classify Carbon Dioxide as a hazardous gas (a 'pollutant'), and therefore subject to bureaucratic controls, was "enviroturfing" at its worst because CO2 emissions occur naturally and there is no known 'excessive' concentration which is harmful, that is possible for Humans to induce.
