Corporate Veil

Concept in the corpoate business world that protects stockholders from being liable for the debts of the business.
A simple way of understand this is that stockholders can ONLY lose what they invest; creditors of a business CANNOT go after the stockholders for the business's liabilities.

Basically a business can rack up a bunch of debt, go under, and not have pay the difference owed to creditors after liquidating.

This concept does NOT apply to family owned business AKA non-corporations.
The corporate veil is a motherfucker. Lets corporations that go under get away scott free.

Corporate Soul Vibe

An individual you encounter in a corporate environment that still may actually may have a soul.
I bumped into the new guy Phil at work today and after a five-minute chat I detected a bit of a Corporate Soul Vibe from him. Just give it a couple weeks because this company will pollute any remaining soul that beautiful angel has.

corporate america voice

The voice that you use with customers/clients in the workplace. It's always amicable, with heavy use of upward inflections. The term was coined by Donnell Rawlings in his comedy act "From Ashy to Classy".
Say you work at a pizza place, and you're pissed off. Then a customer calls. Despite your anger, you will talk to that customer with an upward inflection, kiss their ass, and be almost overly friendly. The call ends. You've just utilized your corporate america voice. You can now go back to being grouchy, saying mean things about the customers who deserve it, and swearing profusely.

Media/corporate appointed voice

The voice of an entity that tries to speak for other people without anybody requesting to have a voice. Someone there to deprive everyone else of their own voice, but says they want to give everyone a voice by being their voice.
The girl wanted to be the voice of a neighborhood she wasn't even from, which was highly inflammatory to people who really were from there. They didn't feel like they needed a media/corporate appointed voice that wasn't their own.

Serial Monogamist

Someone who jumps from one relationship immediately into another one.

Serial monogamists can not stand to be alone and often suffer from vast commitment and insecurity issues.

Because they jump into relationships immediately after the previous one has ended, serial monogamists typically don't take the time to reflect on their behavior or why their previous relationships failed; thus, they end up making the same relationship mistakes over and over again.
Person 1: Damn, Dustin already has a new girlfriend?! It's only been two weeks since he broke up with his fiance! I think he's a sociopath.

Person 2: No, he's a serial monogamist...
