1) An incorrect spelling of the Isle of Wight, in Southern England.

2) Used by both Islanders and non-islanders about the Isle of Wight having an extremely high percentage of white people compared to the rest of England.
1) person a: I went to the Isle of white last week
person b: You mean the Isle of Wight?

2) person a: I went to the Isle of wight last week and we walked in to a pub and were just stared at. Didn't see another black person all week.
person b: They don't call it the isle of white for nothing!

what marines and sailors attached are sometimes referred to because of the way they roll the sleeves on the cammies, with the light colored side facing out. known to strike fear in the hearts of their enemies.
