Every year, the London Times ranks the best colleges in the world. In the most recent edition of the Times Higher Education Supplement, UCLA was ranked number 26 in the world. Cal was ranked number 2 in the world. Stanford was ranked number 7. Where do you think USC was ranked in the world?

USC was ranked number 180 in the world by the London Times! I guess your entrance requirements aren't helping you much.

US News had UCLA ranked at number 25, Cal ranked at number 21, and USC ranked at number 30 for this year. That's because they consider the amount of money alumni give to each school. Of course private schools like USC will have inflated rankings in the US News guide. And even with that, UCLA is ranked higher in the US News list.

Let's see here...UCLA-26, USC-180...USC better in academics? Please!

It's a known fact that UCLA looks at more than just your scores when selecting students. Ask anybody who's been turned down by the school. You need extracurricular activities as well as high gpa and SAT scores.

And to the moron who talked about not paying $30,000 a year, if you are getting that money in loans, you will be paying it sooner or later. Maybe they didn't teach you that in South Central. I hope the Trojan alumni give you a nice job.
Do you see the London Times college rankings? UCLA was ranked 26 and USC was ranked 180. I thought USC was a good school. Oh well.

USC is ranked number 30 overall in the nation by US News. UCLA is ranked number 25 and Cal is ranked number 21.

Congratulations on your freshman class. It's too bad that most of SC's student body was rejected by UCLA and had to settle for the old private school in the ghetto.

And congratulations on beating a lowly UCLA football team by only five points. You won't be saved by the refs against Oklahoma.
I really wanted to go to UCLA, but they didn't accept me. Now I go to USC where I risk being shot at by the gang members from across the street. But hey, how about that freshman class? We're movin' on up.

The worst school in California, where the quality of undergrad education is inversely proportional to the amount of "tuition" paid to live in the armpits of LA and get raped by frat boys.
UCLA looks down on USC. UC Berkeley looks down on USC. UCSD looks down on USC. Even Harvey Mudd looks down on USC.

When it comes to colleges, being private usually means being better. This is not the case when it comes to USC, which has lower academic rankings in comparison to both UCLA and Cal. With USC, being private simply means that it costs more.

Some people call USC the "university of spoiled children." This is wrong. USC students are ripped off. In comparison, UCLA students pay a fraction of the price USC charges and they get to go to a school with better academic rankings with better faculty in a much better neighborhood. Who's spoiled again? UCLA students are.

I feel sorry for Trojans. I really do. I hope you can find a way to justify USC stealing all that money from you.
Unless you want to play football, go to UCLA. Don't fall victim to the ripoff machine at USC. It will just make you bitter and delusional.

1. The University of South Carolina. The Gamecocks football team got owned by Clemson in both the game and the brawl which occured near the end of said game. Sucks for them.

2. The University of Southern California. Abbreviated preferably "U$C" to prevent confusion with South Carolina. U$C Trojans are lucky they had to face Oklahoma and not Auburn in the BCS championship. If Auburn was in that game they would have won.
1. Did you see that fight between Clemson and USC?

2. Fuck U$C. Just because you're #1 in the polls doesn't mean you're the best team!

By far the best university in California. While it may not be ranked as high as UCLA, it benefits from an incredibly advanced social network that propels its graduates into prestigious career paths immediately after college. It has an extremely diverse student body that invest themselves in a wide array of extra-curricular activities and athletics. Speaking of athletics, USC has one of the most impressive athletic programs and arguably the number one football team in the nation.
By looking at the numerous negative posts about USC, the insecurities of other rival schools (primarily UCLA) become blatantly obvious. It is clear that the students of USC feel they have nothing to prove, as they do not stoop to the same level by posting aggressive, immature attacks on their rival schools. Instead, they seek to highlight the positive aspects of their college experience. These rival schools should not get so down on themselves that the feel the need to use derogatory acronyms such as "University of Sucking Cock." They should be proud to be affiliated with such a prestigious neighbor. If they did, they could even learn a thing or two.

While the overwhelmingly Asian student body at UCLA spends the majority of their time with their noses in books, USC students are able to balance their schedule to practice other important life skills such as social interaction. The social scene at USC is unparalleled. The "Fraternity Row" on 28th street stretches all the way from Hoover to Figueroa and features the most powerful national chapters of fraternities and sororities. The fortitude of these national chapters allows greater funding, which allows these Greek letter social organizations greater possibilities for social and philanthropy events. The students in the Greek system perform the highest academically and are the most involved in campus activities, testament to the fact that the strong social atmosphere at USC allows the students to flourish.
Students from USC will all be leaders in whatever fields they choose to pursue, not only because they are academically qualified, but because they are socially competent and interested in a myriad of activities other than studying. They are actually interesting people. FIGHT ON TROJANS!
USC kids sure know how to party, but they always get their work done first.
