Strawmanning

A type of trolling where the Troller attempts to pwn someone by claiming something they said means something totally different to what that actually meant.

Innocent Person: "I think it is important that school children wear school uniforms".

Strawmanning Person: "Hitler believed in people wearing uniforms, are you trying to make all children Nazis?"

Innocent Person: No, that is not at all what I meant!

Strawmanning Person: Ha! I pwned you!

Strawmanner

A 'strawmanner' is someone who makes up a person, usually embodying a stereotype, to get mad about or use as an example in arguments. Basically, it's someone who makes a strawman that isn't real and uses it as a sort of punching bag.

p1: Man, p3 is a total strawmanner.

p3: You're just like that one woke liberal leftist who gets triggered by everything.

p2: I don't see any "woke liberal leftists" getting triggered by everything.

p1: See, p3 is strawmanning!
