Hiawatha is when you tell someone to cover your spot at work and then dissappear for a long period of time saying that there is nothing to do but leave you a shit show to cover.
Subject A: Im gonna go get me a salad. You mind covering me? There is nothing going on.

This is a park on the northwest side of Chicago that has a gym, 4 baseball fields, a tennis court, and a blacktop. There is a gang called maniac latin dicples or mld that operates in this park. The gang members are always selling drugs or smoking weed. These gang members are mostly from the neighborhood high school Steinmetz college prep.

An indian chant you grunt while dropping a huge, unhuman deuce. You have to grunt it with an indian accent, a tone of an old man, and make it sound painful. It goes, "HIIIIII-a-watha.... Watha-watha...."
My mom asked why I was chanting the indian boys name she studied in elementary school while I was in the bathroom. I explained to her its the song of hiawatha. I then asked her to check the sink for a fresh, steaming hiawatha. She never looked at hiawatha the same again, and we now are in family therapy because I crapped an un human steaming dump in the sink and refused to clean it.
