Get the skinnymug. the word skinny only has one definition: to weigh less than average.
but over time it has come to have many definitions.
1) skinny - a word describing what most girls think is perfection.
2) skinny - a word describing girls who have nice bodies and let it get to their heads.
3) skinny - a word used as an insult for girls who naturally have high metabolism and can't help that they can't gain weight.
but really "skinny" is just a word describing a body type. and yes it is healthier to be skinny, and skinnier people live longer, but everyone has nice features no matter their body type.

A body type common outside of America, Germany, and China, as it is a type of beauty underappreciated by the people of these countries -- particularly America, where slim people of either sex are perceived as ill (presumably to make the fat people feel better) and slim males are perceived as lacking masculinity and suspected to be homosexual.

Get the skinnymug. Slang used in Robert Heinlein's classic Novel Starship Troopers (First published in 1959) to describe enemy aliens that were human like but thin and about 8 feet tall.
The novel is read and held in high regard by many soldiers. The term "skinny" is most popular for its usage in Mark Bowden's best selling book and later movie, Black Hawk Down. The Rangers referred to the Somalis as "skinnys" because they had read Starship Troopers.

Get the skinnymug. (adj.) Having a lower amount of bady fat than the average in whatever country or province you happen to be in. Many women and tenage girls envy this quality, maybe because of the many problems that can be caused by being overweight and the increase in overweight and obese population in the world.
People who are 'skinny' are sometimes frowned upon. Girls who come naturally with this trait, probably by way of a high metabolism, are normally rather proud.
Needless to say, more extreme versions of this trait are dangerous and unhealthy.
