thread pool

Thread pool is a collection of pre-initialized, idle threads that are ready to execute tasks. In network programming, it optimizes the use of system resources by reusing threads for multiple tasks. Ironically, the name sounds like the title of the movie your parents think is too inappropriate for you to watch.
I tried explaining about thread pool to my friends, but all they could think about was how it sounded like that movie they aren't allowed by their parents to see.

threadpool

A playful term for excessive cursing or swearing, inspired by Deadpool's notorious foul mouth. Just as a thread pool manages multiple tasks simultaneously, a "threadpool" of curse words emphasizes the chaotic and humorous nature of swearing in conversation.
After that last meeting, I unleashed a full threadpool at home; I couldn't help it!

Threadpool

The title of the movie that your parents still deem to be too inappropriate for you to watch, even when you're mature enough to watch most other movies
I can't believe my friends are raving about watching "Threadpool" while my parents still think it's too inappropriate for me to see.

dancing threadpool

A tongue-in-cheek backronym for Deadpool, i.e. the title of the movie that you guys are still too young to watch
Whenever we talk about Deadpool, we can't help but laugh and call it 'Dancing Threadpool'—it’s our inside joke about how we’re all still too young for that kind of chaos!

too young to watch Threadpool

This phrase is a concise way to mean, "My parents still deem the movie 'Threadpool' to be too inappropriate for me to watch," regardless whether you're still 5, 15, or 25 years old. Here, 'Threadpool' can be replaced by any movie with excessive amount of inappropriate contents (vulgarity, profanity, violence, etc.), but 'Threadpool' is among the most common movies for children to salivate at whilst still being too young to watch said movies.
At 25, I still joke with my friends that I'm too young to watch Threadpool—it’s just a classic line for any movie my parents thought was too wild for me!

flophouse

Any house/apartment/frat house/trailer/etc. which is used for individuals to crash (sleep, chill, hang out, lurk, etc.) for a period of time. In order to "crash", one must not actually live there (e.g. have their name on the lease, own said flophouse, etc.). Flophouses are typically used by college students, drug addicts, transients, vagrants, or other unsavory characters.

A flophouse may also be the home owned by the parents of a college student, who after being away at college, wishes to live as if he/she is still at college (e.g. staying out all night, returning just to crash at mom and dad's house, then leaving again), rather than conforming to the pre-college rules.
Example #1
Dude: (Talking to someone passed out face first on the floor of his college apartment) Hey man, who the hell are you? What do you think this is, a flophouse??

Bro: Sorry dude, I must have passed out for a minute.

Example #2
Mom: Where have you BEEN for the last three days? You come home just to sleep?? What do you think this is, a flophouse??!!

Son: What's your problem? I'm an adult now!

Hate Sink

A person you hate intensely not because they deserve such hatred but because they serve as a focus for your general hatred. A healthy way to dispense with excess animosity.
Jake's not really that big an asshole. He just serves as my hate sink.
