Ill-tempered

It’s an adjective and it means having or showing a bad temper; being annoyed and irritable; being cranky or disagreeable. You know the sort of person, they come into work pissed off with everything and everybody and just looking for an excuse to blame somebody for everything that is wrong in their crappy lives, the world, the universe. Thoroughly unpleasant shitbags.
He’s nothing but an ill-tempered scrote.

Template fatigue

In the corporate world, templates are often provided by more senior people as a means of requesting and gathering information. The template are portrayed as an attempt to make the process easier, when in reality they make things harder.
These people in headquarters keep sending me templates to fill out on different topics. There are so many of them and in different versions that I’m suffering from template fatigue.

Room Temperature Challenge

When a person is killed its body temperature lowers to that of the room it's in. Clearly you never want to win the room temperature challenge.
The robber thought he could get away with the money but ended up taking the room temperature challenge.

Water Temple

Considered by many to be the equivalent to a complete rectal examination.

The Water Temple from Zelda 64, which has to be the hardest, most difficult level known to man. Ever. Filled with traps, mazes, puzzles, illusions, and who knows how many times you have to raise and lower the water level.

Every gamer I have spoken with has only rude, vulgar things to say about the Water Temple - and many stories of trial and error - using the wrong keys on the wrong doors, saving and screwing up in the wrong places, forgetting which rooms were which... it's a hellhole.

It is also used outside of the gaming world to describe a problem that is virtually impossible to solve.

The only thing I don't get is why they put the hardest level in the middle of the game.
I spent four fucking hours in the Water Temple and I still have no idea where the fuck I'm going.

Tom: Dude! I can't figure this out! We are seriously fucked!
Mike: This is worse than the Water Temple!

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
