The beer tastes like shit

A statement issued by famous hockey star Teemu Selanne of the Anaheim Ducks when talking about the teams recent struggles.

"To lose night after night, it’s a terrible feeling. You can’t sleep well. The food doesn’t taste well. The beer tastes like shit."

Refers to when things are not going your way.
This has been a crappy few weeks. Failed a few exams, lost a job, broke up with my girlfriend.

The beer tastes like shit.

It tastes like shit to me

When you don't care about any situation or someone's opinion.
It tastes like shit to me if you don't wan to lend me your charger, I can find another one.

taste like shit

Comparable to the derivative of when terrible food tastes "like shit" well, have you TASTED shit before? You would ASSUME that it has an awful taste but I bet if you gave it a shot it wouldn't be as bad as you think. DO NOT SWALLOW! EXTREMELY HAZARDOUS!!
Son: Yuck, mom this slop you made for dinner taste like SHIT!
Mom: Fuck off, son. I have to work all day; I don't have time to cook a delicious meal.
Son: okay, I go to school more hours then you work, mom.

An armpit enthusiast — typically of the scent, appearance, and touch of hairy underarms.

church hurt

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
Now that I am an adult I am beginning to heal from the church hurt that was inflicted on me as a child.
