stripmining

The act of mining in a straight line in Minecraft. While usually done to find diamonds, it can also be used to find other ores (lapis lazuli, gold, redstone, etc). Stripmines usually start at the Y-coordinate level of 11, 12 or 13.

Bro 1: Eyy man, you got any diamonds?
