Squishmallows are a cult, they are always trying to get you to "join the squad". once you buy one more and more will arrive at your house and you don't remember buying them. You may think they are cute but once you hear their theme song you will be scarred forever. you will show it to your friends and they will show it to theirs. it never ends.

Squishmallows are adorably soft and huggable stuffed animals they are also the only thing that gives thousands of people around the word happiness. many people go on "Squishmallow hunts" in search for their favorites or limited ones. some of the creepy disturbing Squishmallows are the mermaids and the chucky cheese one... dear god....

A lighthearted reaction upon receiving disappointing news of some sort. Usually something that isn't a particularly a big deal, esp. when it primarily affects someone else - sort of a mild schadenfreude. Sometimes doubled or tripled, and possibly said in a sing-songy voice for added comedic effect to imitate a muted trumpet, which is how the meme originated.
