slagmark

A Norse carnivorous earthworm, an earthworm that slay (norse. slag) its prey, also a much newer Norwegian word for battlefield. Must not be confused with "villmark", which is an untameable (vill=wild) but small Norwegian earthworm, often used as fish bait.
Villmarkens sønn er en tam mark, villmarkens far var jo slagmark, men villmarken ble nasjonalpark.
