The act of using one's fingers to refer to another person's mother after said person says something that can be turned into a "your mom" joke. Often used in mixed company and/or in public where one doesn't want to offend anyone within earshot.

When a character extends their arm at full length towards their opponent(s) and then extends their index finger, this is known as giving the "pointy finger of doom". This is used in lou of the middle finger, or other originally written, but then dubbed trash talk.
Person 1: "Don't you hate it when they use the 'pointy finger of doom'?"
Person 2: "Why can't they just give the damn guy the finger like we do in real life?"
