The state or quality of being naked in a way that does, for some reason, not arouse the spectator(s). Unarousing nudity is typically a form of casual nudity in a context that takes the sting of physical attraction out of it.
Examples include:
- Figure drawing
- Seeing particular people naked, such as your parents
- Doctor's visit
Unarousing nudity does not include not being attracted to someone naked, in whatever circumstances, on account of personal taste (gender, age, physical characteristics, ...).

The term implies that the person being naked is comfortable with it because it is casual, functional, and thus meaningless. For the other person or people around, casual nudity can still be uncomfortable or awkward. So although the nudity is 'casual', it is typically not meaningless or neutral to at least one party: the spectator usually feels either uncomfortable, embarrassed or aroused. The very idea of someone being naked without giving a fuck is a pretty sexy idea to some. Hence, casual nudity is not the same as unarousing nudity.

Get the casual nudity mug.A state of mental and emotional honesty. When all pretense, prejudice, expectations, bravado, etc. are removed, and all that is left is the bare mind. Pure thought (not necessarily pure as in good) is more readily accomplished when one is psychologically nude. Note that psychological nudity has nothing to do with the amount of clothing one is (or is not) wearing; it is a mental state.
After half an hour of chipping away at my preconceived ideas, I could finally see what she was talking about. Fully clothed, I experienced psychological nudity.
