Fem. of "Muslim" in Arabic, used for Muslim women. Usually used among more religious Muslim women to describe each other . Often connotates a "hijabi", a woman who wears the "Hijab" or Muslim vail. Muslimas are ussually very pious and have loads self-respect, eat halal and pray at least once a day.

A woman who believes in God and believes that the Bible and the Koran are both holy books from God and she believes she should be submissive to God's rules in all things and at all times. She avoids prohibited acts and does good deeds and has strong faith in God's goodness. She dresses modestly to avoid Zina (fornication) which she knows is one of the 14 acts forbidden by God in both the bible and koran.
At the mosque, she goes by 1 Corinthians 14:28 where it says:
"In all the congregations let the women keep silent, for it is not permitted for them to speak, but let them be in subjection, even as the Law says. It is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the congregation."

Let's see if we can arrange a marriage for you with that woman. She is a muslima.

Rammy Muslim 

This is someone who puts themself to be a great person who follows their faith of Islam but could really care less about it until Ramadan comes along.

They may even go on social media rambling about how holy the month is and quotes and whatnot. (all for one month)

anti-Muslim bigotry 

Discrimination, prejudice, or hatred against Muslims.
For example, harassing a woman because she's wearing a hijab; treating people unfairly simply because they have an Islamic name; forcing Muslims to eat pork or drink beer.

The term 'Islamophobia' originated in the 1970s, and was created with the intention of using liberal values to protect Islam from any kind of criticism. When Iranians, Ex-Muslims, people who grew up in Muslim-majority countries try to speak out about their Islamotrauma, they were very often silenced by this term.

Islam is a set of specific ideas based on scripture. People should be able to criticize it. Freedom of expression is a human right. Questioning and criticizing ideologies is crucial for societal progression.

You see, the person who coined the term 'Islamophobia' cared about protecting Islam more than protecting Muslim. That person is wrong. When it comes to people and ideas, people should always come first. Use anti-Muslim bigotry or Muslimophobia or Muslimphobia instead of Islamophobia.
