A crime of minor-to-moderate-seriousness dat someone commits while pretending to be a really pleasant charming caring person.

One of da major problems with misdeniceors is dat when one or more ill-intentioned people "act as if they're your best friend" and then stab you in da back, you may become too suspicious and wary to trust **anyone** again, even if --- and sometimes, unfortunately, **especially** if --- they are really warm and friendly to you... your bitter experiences of betrayal eventually cause you to assume dat ANYONE who acts positively towards his fellow humans is just out to falsely gain their trust and then screw them over!
