Facefight

1. The passive-aggressive act of making threatening faces to someone when in public, or while in the company of others, as to not make a scene.

2. To mouth curse words in a threatening manner to someone in public, so others don't hear you.

"I got in a major facefight with boyfriend at the restaurant, and gave him looks like I wanted to punch his face in."

"She called me out in front of our friends, and then we got in a facefight; I mouthed every name in the book to her!"

An open-ended, brief Facebook status post, often 1-2 words -- such as "hmmm" or "is" -- that is merely bait, intended to solicit quick bites or responses from your audience pool.

FaceFishing post: Hmmmmm...

Biter #1: What is 'Things that make you go...'? I'll take Alphabet Soup for $400.

Biter #2: WTF? You are clearly fishing for comments with an open-ended "hmmmmm."

Biter #1 again: Maybe he's referring to a hummer received last night...or a tasty treat...not sure? Let's ask...

When facepalm isn't enough, its close relative facefist is one step up. It's used when a feeling of frustration agitation or the witnessing of an act of stupidity is so overwhelming that you feel the need to punch yourself in the face.

Teacher: Now class, can anyone tell me what the first 6 prime numbers are?

Student: uumm... 1,2,3,5,7, and 9?

Teacher: That's all correct except 2.

Student: But 5 minutes ago I thought you said that a prime number could only be divided by 1 or itself? Doesn't 2 fit those requirements?

Teacher: I'm sorry, are you saying I'm incorrect?

Student: ....Yes?

Teacher: Well in that case you just earned yourself detention!

Student: But why?

Teacher: 2 days detention!!

Student: Ma'am I----

Teacher: DO YOU WANT TO GO FOR A WEEK?!!?!?!

Fadefishing

Similar to catfishing, fadefishing is the act of posting a photo or video of yourself right after getting an amazing fade weeks or months later while currently looking a mess.

Yeah I posted an old selfie to my stories today. I was fadefishing.
