Noun. A demifan is a fan of a certain piece of media, especially if the media is controversial, where the person in question is a fan of the concept, story, or anything else of the like, without directly supporting one aspect, typically the creator, by either not supporting them, putting them in the "cons" list in addition to the aforementioned, or, in extreme cases, not even mentioning them. This is the best kind of fan of a controversial piece of media.

Me: I kinda sorta made the word "demifan" up, but I just really want this term to be a thing. It could help a lot with things.

A person who is attracted to multiple genders (Female, male, in between, no-gender, any others) but will not feel sexually-inclined to a person unless a serious relationship is developed and a certain level of trust is gained. The term "demipansexual" is a mix of the terms "pansexual" and "demisexual".

Ellie is demipansexual. She just got into a relationship with Mary but she only wants to take it slow for now.

A person who is demipansexual can have interests in any person romantically, regardless of gender but they may only feel sexual attractions when you connect and make a strong bond with the person. Demipansexual is a mix between Demisexual and Pansexual.
