History: The word was first coined by "Alinity", a twitch streamer, when she was reacting to a youtube video by pewdiepie (TESTING OUT EYETRACKING), in which he was watching videos, submitted by fans with an eyetracker. A lot of those submitted videos where from twitch streamers, which pewdiepie jokingly called twitch thots. Because of that Alinity asked: "Can we copystrike pewdiepie's latest video?" in her stream and later "CollabDRM", a digital rights management company who works with "Alinity" striked pewdiepie's video for copyright infringement.

Copystrike or copystriking
Basicly a copyright strike without having the right to do so.
So when someone does this there violating the law in verious places where the copyright law is in act.
