A music creation tool made by John Nesky aka "shaktool," published February 20th, 2012. It was originally good for chiptune music, but now it is good for any other type of music. You can create your own instruments or steal them from other songs (the latter is preferable) and many mods exist which expand on BeepBox. A popular (and arguably better) mod is JummBox, created by Jummbus, which adds many other features, perhaps most notably of which are modulator channels, which allow you to dynamically change an attribute/property of the song or a singular channel.
Guy 1: hey, have you heard of BeepBox?
Guy 2: no what is it
Guy 1: it's a music creation program developed by John Nesky aka "shaktool" published February 20-
Guy 2: 🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓
