Zannis, also known as "to zan" is found in the place where gods were born.

Zennism 

Zennism (Not Buddhism or Taoism, just Zennism), because looking beyond Buddha and Lao Tzu, broadens the eyes, and expands the awareness of what Zen is. To be a Zennist, you must go beyond Lao Tzu and Buddha. Go beyond Buddhism and Taoism, beyond right and wrong, good and evil, death and life, everything .................. and nothing.

In Alan Watts's mature work, he presents himself as "Zennist" in spirit as he wrote in his last book, Tao: The Watercourse Way.

Zennism fits our modern culture & is more likely to be in line with our current thinking. Canadian Zennism is our new gig I think. As a 'descendent' of Alan Watts.

Osho said "Zen goes beyond Buddha and beyond Lao Tzu......... To call Zen “Zen Buddhism” is not right because it is far more."

Watts & the early teachers who brought zen to the America's. Threw out the gods & goddess from tbe past. They boiled it down to delete a lot o the un_needed ritual. Zen has been boiled down in each country as it arrived. It always expands again after that but on arrival it is simple & clean."

I practice the purest form of Zen, it is called Zennism

xanax, a prescription drug used to help symptoms of anxiety and panic disorders. Now days, I think it is more abused than it is taken for panic disorders. It is taken as a pill or crushed and snorted and is often referred to as "zannie bars."

zanism 

Zanism is “act-ually” a religion formed in the early ‘90’s as an attempt to escape the tyranny of sanity without falling into the prison of insanity. We reject the sanity/insanity dichotomy and embrace “zanity” in its stead. Zanism is not a religion of beliefs. We believe in disbelief.

Zanism is influenced by some (not all) of the sayings of Buddha, Loa-Tzu, Jesus Christ, Niels Bohr, Warner Heisenberg, and Bokonon among others. To understand zanism, we examine why religion exists at all. Then, we capture that impulse--and squash it. You may think this is a joke, but we're as serious as Yorick’s skull.

After your conversion to zanism you're welcome to free yourself of it again and again unto infinity. In deference to Lao-Tzu, we like to think of Zanism as “the path that makes no sense.”

While zanism has no beliefs, it does have several tentative tenets.

1. On Belief: If you believe in zanism, you aren't a zanist.

2. On Earth: Treat the Earth as if you depend upon it.

3. On Salvation: Salvation isn't guaranteed.

4. On God: If there's a god, you're here to amuse her. And—she’s amused.

5. On Violence: We acknowledge that non-violence takes astonishing guts.

6. On Love: Just do it.

7. On Individuality: Dance dust dance!!

8. On Nonsense: Sense makes no sense and no sense makes sense.

9. On Hamlet: It’s a play on words.

10. On Hope: Refer to love.
