Trap is a branch of rap music, and is about life on the streets. Trap lyrics are about manufacturing, selling, and using drugs, as well as some other aspects of life on the street. The name comes from the word "trap" which refers to a place where drugs are sold illegally. It originated in the Southern United States. Atlanta, Georgia is typically credited for being the birthplace of trap music. Some pioneers of trap are Young Jeezy, TI, and Gucci Mane. TI coined the term with his 2003 album "Trap Muzik." Trap music is known for having fast paced, high bpm beats with a lot of bass. It originated in the late 1990s - early 2000s, and became popular in the late 2000s - early 2010s.
-Just because a rap song has a high bpm doesn't mean it's trap music. Its about the lyrics: If they aren't rapping about the trap, then it isn't trap music.
-Trap is one of the most popular genres of music, even though most people don't know the meaning behind the lyrics and know nothing about life in the trap.
-Later on, in the early 2010's, drill rap originated in the South Side of Chicago as a branch of trap music.

Dejagoo is the strange feeling that you've been in this sticky situation before. It is dejavu due to goo. Usual symptoms are shivers down once's spine followed by disgust, especially if actual goo is involved.
Dude I like just like stepped in doggy doodoo. And i was like, oh dude this feels familiar. Then I remembered that I like stepped in pup poo like last weekend too. Surreal man, it was like total dejagoo.

Trap music is based on use of the 808 Roland drum machine, pitched and re-sampled hiphop/rap vocals, pipe flutes, gangsta synth leads, and various FX. Similar to rap without the main vocal, Trap music has been gaining lots of attention from major DJ’s and labels. Although, the style originated many years ago, Trap music has recently been making a new school comeback in many new forms such as “Trap”, “Chirp”, “SeaPunk”, “PsyTrap”, and “TrapStep”. Earliest known examples can be found by artists such as Triple Six Mafia, UGK, Swisha House, and Gucci Mane. Tempos range widely from 135-175bpm which is uncommon for most major genres of electronic dance music (EDM).
In laymen’s terms, Trap music would be best described as a recipe;
1/3 hip hop (tempo and song structure similar) – however vocals are usually pitched lower or higher
1/3 dubstep (similar drum arrangements, different builds and drops)
1/3 dub (Low frequency focus and strong emphasis on repetitiveness throughout a song)

Trap is a style of popular music that FUCKING SUCKS and is TERRIBLE. All trap "music" is just the same five TR-808 patterns with some SoundCloud rapper singing the most edgy shit he can come up with.
