Transvoter

Someone who’s ineligible to vote but chooses to identify as an eligible voter.

I’m so proud of my grandmother that died 20 years ago but came out this year as a transvoter, when she voted Biden.

A term referring to when one's gender and voter registration are not always or ever equivalent. Often used as a referrant to the person themself.

Ruben was born a male, but as a voter is a female. She is a transvoter.
