Threewave

Threewave is a formerly popular Quakeworld mod that made CTF mainstream in shooters throughout the late 90's. The mod is notorious for its usage of table-turning runes, a grappling hook, and an explicit objective. To avoid the problems of people "choosing" an offensive or defensive squad within their team, there have been suggestions for the one-flag variant, but Zoid, creator of the mod, et al. didn't start listening until Team Arena.

Denton: I've got a new Threewave server running after work hours and I'm only going to tell you the password if you do it.
