Freshman: Hey man, did you go to Beach Party?
Delta Theta Sigma Fraternity member: Duh, I hosted the damn thing.
Freshman: Great! Can you tell me which girls I hooked up with?

Alpha Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority was incorporated February 1913. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Grand Chapter was incorporated seventeen years later in 1930 .
Today, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is the largest African-American Greek-lettered Sorority in the world. Historically Black sisterhood of college educated women based upon scholarship and service. Delta Sigma Theta was founded on January 13, 1913 when former women of Alpha Kappa Alpha and other women had an insight for a sisterhood with a purpose...to serve the community and uplift education. Second in existence, but the FIRST to make a difference.
Those ladies of Delta Sigma Theta are always serving their communities

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc is sorority founded on January 13, 1913 at Howard University by 22 phenomenal women. Their "motivators" like to say that the members of Delta Sigma Theta deny their roots. However, it is more than clear that membership in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority was not what the founders of Delta Sigma Theta had in mind. So one morning wanting no more association with a social organization, 22 women, including the current president of Alpha Kappa Alpha walked out, headed for bigger things and brighter dreams, adorned in gowns of Crimson and Cream. They started a legacy of greatness and service that continues to reign supreme 94 years later.

Delta Sigma Theta continues to be world renowned. It's membership has grown to nearly 300,000. While many find it amusing that they turn out lines some large in number, the members of Delta Sigma Theta are some of the most through women in existance. They continue to be the most intelligent, hardworking and dedicated women amongst their peers. They are known to be devestating and most members are true divas. They will stomp your yard and win the most stepshows, do the most community service, win campus sorority of the year, turn down the most wanna be's, have the most haters and be the most fabulous! So if the only thing negative you can find to say is that their lines are 30+ deep, then continue to say so... Because those 30+ women work hard for Delta! And for all their haters, they say.... Do Better!
Hater 1: Did you see all those Deltas that just crossed?
Hater 2: Ha, Ha girl, it was 38 of them!!!!

One year later:

Those 38 Divas of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc won both the homecoming and statewide step shows, won sorority of the year by doing over 100 community service projects and having the most forums with the most campus involvement.
Wow... Hate on that!

These individuals have uniquely valuable skill sets that may tapped to preform ambivalent tasks which may only be matched by those in the the upper echelon of society. They are humble yet confident in all that they do while constantly giving glory to God.

Did you see that guy help all of those individuals cross that wrecked bridge to safety? I think he said he was a part of Sigma Theta Epsilon... Those guys are so cool, they serve Christ and community, have beautiful girlfriends, and are always having fun wherever they are.

The only black sorority to start off as a spinoff. Everything they are or ever will be they owe to Alpha Kappa Alpha. Their "founders" (how you can found something you're already in is beyond me) began as members of AKA, they learned how to run a sorority and unethically broke their vows as AKAs to start their female fraternity. Even their "founding date" was given to them by AKA. The AKAs gave them a deadline, Jan 13th to drop the name Delta Sigma Theta. That deadline was 2 days before AKA's 5th anniversary, Jan. 15th. These Deltas didn't drop the name on the deadline & now that's supposedly their founding date...Puhlease...they can't even make up an original founding date.
Girl A: I'm in Delta Sigma Theta we're hard, we're real, we're not stuck up like those AKAs.

Girl B: Well how could you be? You've got nothing to be stuck up about. Enjoy your fake sisterhood.

(Girl B walks away and heads to a real sorority's event.)
