At the end of the work day, everything is looking good and you think you are all set to go home on time. But, then your boss comes over and lets loose with an emergency task that comes out of nowhere and drops on you like a boulder. You are not going home until the wee hours. This work is often something that should have been dealt with by a project manager much earlier in the week, but instead it is last minute and is now your problem.
