A really really amazing city with a place for anyone. We have awesome food, great views, perfect weather, and the best of everything.
A lot of people seem to be under the impression that you must be gay, Asian, rich, a hobo, or a yuppie to fit in in San Francisco. Clearly these people are hanging out with the wrong crowd. San Francisco is beautiful. The country we live in is so stereotyped for a reason: the majority of it really is a bunch of highly Christian white racists. San Francisco is a place that breaks this mold. My city is the future. It's called diversity people, learn to get used to it. Also learn to get used to extreme Bay pride. There's a reason people from the city are so proud of it; it's because San Francisco is truly amazing. And take a guess why it's so expensive to live here. It's only because who wouldn't want to??
The home of the hyphy movement, amazing chinese food, big hills, a gorgeous bay, fog, really nice parks, the mission, good weed, the shittiest soccer fields ever, and the summer of love.
Don't call it frisco.

A beautiful city in california, with a diverse culture. Only downside is the large amount of hipsters. Hipsters can be identifyed by the following:
Jean cut-offs
ironic facial hair
non-perscription glasses
riding a bike
tattoo of random, useless things, i.e. PBR, cheeseburger, mermaid etc
rolled up jeans, showing ankles (if not wearing cut offs)

A city that gives itself a pat on the back whenever it makes local/national/international news for being the most liberal,caring,loving, sympathetic,eco friendly champions of the underprivileged in all the world,while charging 5 + grand a month for a 1 bed/1 bath apartment.
Know a pretentious asshole moving to Cali around the same time as you? send he/she to San Francisco,while you move to Sacramento,and do NOT give them your real new number/address...... let that motherfucker rot.

Placed atop a psychic apex of pure magic; San Francisco is a mecca that draws some of the most interesting and progressive individuals from across the country and world, including a wealth of artists, poets, writers, musicians, and philosophers. Weather is often windy and cold due to the micro-climate created by the surrounding Bay. Streets in most areas are saturated with the smell of urine, due to the high volume of homeless residents and drunken tourists, although this flaw is no match for San Francisco's infinite charm. A city where homosexuality is more acceptable and prevalent than in most cities, however, San Francisco is not entirely gay as it is portrayed by the Right-Wing Media. Scorned by extreme Rightists for its liberal and progressive nature, San Francisco is loved by nearly everyone who has had the opportunity to be there.

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the most important thing about San Francisco... It's a place where cannabis (marijuana) is virtually legal; it is the lowest arrest priority in the city. As in, they will bust you for J-walking before they bust you for J-smoking.

I have found that while traveling the world that cities that are vertically inclined have an additional dimension of awareness and tolerance where as people in flat lands see their own 360 degrees to suit their own level. In San Francisco you can find a church that will support your ONE LOVE/ALL LOVE not strengthen your prejudices.
If you are visiting for more than 4 days try the green "Space Cake" on the first day and walk west on Haight Street and groove through the park toward the north where you will find Hippy Hill for what ever influence it may have on a given day. Street Fair takes place in a June weekend on the Haight aswell. Heard performers from Jefferson Airplane and Hendrix Experience etc.
