n. A Strategic Party Nap (SPN) is a nap that is strategically taken before you start your night of partying. Obviously you are going to rage hard, and in preparation, you need to restore some energy from your hard days work.

A nap taken in the evening in anticipation of going out later, likely before a night of partying and excessive drinking. Often a result of tiredness from work or a lack of sleep caused by a previous night of partying.
